The 2026 edition is comprised of only online courses.
The 2026 Edition will hold only online courses.
Courses are designed around engagement in online class activities. Hence, regular attendance and participation is required. Whether the lectures will be recorded and uploaded to the Learning Management System is at the discretion of the instructor. Even in cases where videos are uploaded, students are still expected to attend the scheduled online courses. Students are expected to actively participate. Only student who attend 80% or more of the online courses will receive a certificate of participation from the Summer School.
The summer school is open to all those interested in methodology in social sciences.
This course is developed for graduate students and academics. Still, there can be exceptions made for undergraduate students on the basis of transcripts and motivation letters. If you are an undergraduate student and wish to participate in our summer method school, please send your transcript and motivation letter explaining why you wish to participate in this course. Both documents should be sent to ipsa-abu@antalya.edu.tr
All participants pay in US Dollars.
We host international participants and academics in this program. Collecting the tuition fees in different currencies would make administration complicated especially with the current fluctuations in the currency rates.
There is no discount for partcipants that attend both weeks of the summer school.
No funding is available to support participation in the 2026 Virtual Summer School.
Students are encouraged to explore funding opportunities through their academic departments and/or their institution’s Erasmus Office.
In exceptional cases, participants may cancel their registration and request a refund up to two weeks before the start of the courses. 10 August 2026 is the deadline for submitting refund requests. A 10% administrative fee will be applied to cancellations.
Yes, participants who successfully complete the course (with at least 80% attendance) will be given a certificate of participation.
Yes, the sending institution can decide to count the course taken at the IPSA-Antalya Summer School within their curriculum. Recognizing credits for each course is fully at the discretion of the sending institution.
Upon request by the sending institution, local organizers will provide them with details on the prerequisites for successfully completing the course (including assignments and number of hours). For ECTS credits, a written exam will be administered at the end of the course. Exams are prepared and graded by the course instructor.
Students must submit a formal request from their institution upon registration and at least 2 weeks before the start of the course.
Participants are expected to indicate preferences in case it is not possible to place them in their preferred course(s).
You will be placed in your 2nd preference. Course allocations are done on a first come, first served basis.
Each course will have a minumum of 8 and a maximum of 20 participants.
